About Hoppin’ Glad

ANIMALS ROCK. Throughout my life I’ve had the opportunity to care for a wide variety of non-human animals. Growing up around a farm I snuggled with kittens in the hayloft, explored the countryside from horseback, and never went anywhere without a loyal dog or two shadowing my every step. As I grew older, my professional endeavors allowed more unusual experiences, from comforting rescued animals recovering from trauma, to hand-feeding an octopus named Charlotte, to being groomed by a rather confused male penguin determined to woo the nice lady with the fish bucket. Throughout each of these experiences, I’ve noticed two consistent themes...First, animals display behaviors consistent with deep emotional experiences, from joy to mourning, generosity to covetousness, love to fear. Second, animals possess a remarkable ability to connect with humans and other animals. Perhaps you’ve known an animal who made you laugh with her playful antics, or warmed your heart with an eager greeting at the end of a long day, or brought you peace with a lick or nudge of the hand when he knew you were feeling down. Those of us who love and connect with non-human animals know they bring something unique and special to the rich human experience.

YOU CAN GO CRUELTY-FREE BY SAYING “NO!” TO ANIMAL TESTING. And I want to help. In sharing the results of my cruelty-free journey with others, I’ve learned there are a number of us out there - people who refuse to compromise on their love of animals by continuing to support animal testing. But who has time to do the research and find quality, reliable, and local alternatives? I do! Want more information on the best websites for one-click cruelty-free shopping? Or where cruelty-free insiders go in Denver to experience the best in cruelty-free shopping and services, from the affordable to the luxurious? And what about the newest and latest cruelty-free lifestyle options popping up around the Mile High City? Let me save you time and energy by bringing this information and more directly to you. I’m eager to share what I’ve learned (and am learning) and to be your personal guide through the simple steps for getting started on a satisfying cruelty-free lifestyle. You can say “NO!” to animal testing, one product at a time.
